Been struggling the last two days. Thankfully I got a good sponsor but damn it's been brutal. The leaving the house when dark and getting home when dark is really fricking with me. Any of y'all have some regrettable party stories? That still makes you cuss yourself when you think about it? I have several hundreds that haunt me. I'll start with a few that should be reason enough not to drink and drug.

Got roofied at a VFW bingo night

I’d help you but I’m sitting here enjoying a bourbon and coke.

5 months is awesome! I just said a prayer for you. Keep up the great work with your sobriety. Best wishes to you.

Just play the tape all the way through.

When I feel like a beer or two...
That will lead to a 12 pack.
That will eventually lead to liquor.
Before I know it I’m driving to get more while drunk.
I’m now pulled over. DWI.
Wife is pissed.
I call in sick to work.
I call in sick to work again.
I’m now fired and single with no drivers license and no income.

It’s not worth the ‘beer or two.’

I am really wondering what kind of drugs would make that seem like a good idea. Benzos plus cocaine?

Need more on this and the immediate after effects and if you’re able to be in the same room with the bride.

Congratulations, I probably hadn't had a week of sobriety in the last 25 years. It's not even a second thought. I'm going to get high whenever I want and frick the consequences.

How about those lines to keep you sober. Best of luck

Strangely, I’m more interested in who “roofied” you at a VFW, as opposed to going all Rickey Morton on a wedding cake. Was it a friend of yours or an old guy in a Vietnam veterans hat? Or were you just blacked out drunk and using the college chick “roofie” excuse?

To answer the original question, I would say loss of freedom (getting arrested), loss of job, loss of license, loss of wife/kids/family, loss of self respect. That’s worse than fricking a fat chick (assuming a BMI under 40).

Yep, thankfully nobody got killed, but looking back it scares the shite out of me, makes me drink to forget, the cycle goes on

We rented a condo with my wife’s sister and her family and my wife’s parents in Destin. Got shitfaced at dinner. Took a shower and climbed in bed naked with my mother in law. The bathroom was adjoined to two rooms and I went out the wrong door.

I would research Nicotinamide Mononucleotide

This comes from someone with 8 years.

Naw. Have had 100s of bad hangovers but never felt like this the next day. Went to the ER and had ketamine in my system.

My last poke as a single man was with a fatty. And while I hope to never be single again, I wish I could have a do-over.
