Wouldn't you expect a parabola to increase more on the y axis for less travel on the x as you get closer to the peak? i.e. more cases per day. So couldn't you argue a big jump doesn't necessarily mean that it won't "peak for a few weeks". What method are you using for your predictions other than hyperbole?

fricking right motherfricker. Let every adult choose for themselves. you are trading lives for lives at this point with the continual shutdown of the state and country.
and BTW, why don't you start a thread detailing the numbers on the people who are testing positive and surviving. Seems simple enough to do from your sterile bunker you apparently live in.

I think it's interesting to note in the graph that it will not be until mid may until we're back down to ~1,000 deaths per day, which is about where we are now. So 45-ish days of between 1,000 and 2,600 passing per day...that's a lot of people.
In comparison the worst recent flu season was 2018 with ~80,000 passing during the whole season from October - May. It's possible we could see that during this next 45 day period in the US.
Its all in the graph mean-line.

Are you talking Louisiana or US? 1000 deaths per day in Louisiana won't happen at this rate.

funny
I took it down cuz of the laughing emoji, but I also know that 1 parish dumped over 10% of those deaths reported today and they had been sitting on some of them for 8 days

How many of those positives have recovered and are over it? How many had it, didn’t get tested, and are over it?
