Life has been on Earth for 4,000,000,000 years.
Humans have been doing agricultural stuff for 20,000 years.
We've had telescopes for 400 years. That is 0.00001% of the time life has been on Earth.
The odds of aliens showing up just now when we have the ability to observe them (maybe) is very low.
If aliens have been here before, they didn't have any interest in us or are fine just observing from a distance.

Funny how the deniers of life existing in the universe always, always, always never want to use Earth as example of life existing in the universe. Hell even the history of Earth, it is clear the rulers of Earth for the longest period of time were in fact the dinosaurs and not the ghetto humans and Jesus. But even still a ghetto planet like Earth, even with our primitiveness, we still looking for life elsewhere in the universe. So imagine a planet that isn't ghetto like Earth and how many thousands of eons they could have been searching for life.

They have always come and gone depending on the Kali Yuga. Now that our solar system has climbed back over the plane of the galaxy, (Age of Aquarius), the cosmic radiation levels have returned more to their liking.
I mean who do you think were the gods of the Old Testament, Torah, Talmud, the Indian Devas of Vedic tradition, ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia and any number of prior civilizations.
