36% of Boston's homeless population tested positive for the Wuhan Virus

The crazy thing? Of the ones who tested positive - only one displayed any symptoms. The rest were asymptomatic.

For the first weeks of the outbreak, Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program tested only people who showed symptoms. A few dozen tested positive. There weren't enough test kits from the state to check everyone else.
Then the clinicians realized that a cluster of the people who had come up positive were staying at Boston's Pine Street Inn. So the state made testing kits available, and just over a week ago, Health Care for the Homeless tested everyone coming into that shelter.
The results? Out of 397 people tested, 146 (36%) came up positive. But even more surprising, they weren't showing any signs of sickness.

It's beginning to be more and more clear to me that there won't be a clear cut "science" coming to save us from this. Theres going to be alot of grey and no clear cut right decision. This is beginning to be a shitshow and some people want to be closed for 18 months no matter what.
I was with the quarantine initally. Thought they should have done stay at home about a week earlier so it might be quicker and more effective. But then socially it took a turn for the weird about a week ago as everyone was accelerating their quarantines and the social media shame wave got bigger, all while it was obvious the numbers and bad news was decelerating.
I'm currently in the wear masks, and go back to work now crowd. Wear masks if it helps, we can figure that out as we go, but we have to go. We can't wait for a vaccine that may or may not work and may or may not take 2 years. Not unless there are bodies stacking up, and we are having historically low death counts overall this year in USA, so its obvious, the bodies are not stacking up.

Why is it only one person showed symptoms out of 146?
Is it because homeless people are generally thin?
If that’s the case, it seems increasingly obvious that obesity is the main factor in how hard this virus hits people.
All of the NBA players who tested positive said they didn’t have any symptoms.

My first thought. There are a lot of shitty tests out there. I know several healthcare companies have been burned by a bad batch or two.

By now everybody should realize that the testing is completely inaccurate. This test might be detecting herpes for all we know. Hell, they dont know.
