Don't get me wrong, I think it was an absolute disaster of an advertising campaign. I didn't take offense to it and I've continued to drink Bud Light. And because of her dumbass, I'm drinking Bud Light a little cheaper.
And she certainly never said "flat out" She hated customers...

That is who she viewed the brand as being marketed to. Are you somehow separating her brand messaging from who she thinks her customer base was?
Further, do you really think she meant that as a compliment or a positive given the fact that she then went out of her way to change her messaging and thus her customer base?
She then rants about her southern roots and how she went to a mentor who taught her how to reject them and have a fresh perspective.
You can feel free to interpret it however you want and remain a customer. But its plain as day she despises the "non-inclusive" customer base she was being forced to sell to so she decided to blow it all up.

My FIL would go for that deal. He's 85 years old and doesn't care about any tranny b.s. The man will stand in line for 30 minutes at customer service to get $1 back. And then woe to the store workers if they refuse to give him his refund.

Nothing drives marketing more than perception. Hell, nothing else even comes close.
