Mostly back-office jobs.
Due to technology.
Labor provided by immigrants.
White collar jobs taken by H1B.
Desk jobs automated by computers.
This is really bad.

As a parent of a young child, do you push them into engineering? Because now engineers are coming out of India. Do you push the child into military? What do you push them into? Let them choose their own path?

Banking as a career really has become a shite show. I'd equate it to working at a Walmart, but I believe Walmart takes better care of its employees. I'm glad I got out of it 2 years ago.

There was a thread about this a few weeks ago in the Politics section about this that was interesting. It's not just banking jobs in danger but essentially all jobs. Even well paying ones like doctors.

Letting someone choose their own path is always the right answer ... if you 'push' a child into anything, you are asking for trouble.
