I think he's getting fatigued at having to come and defend the breed 1-2 times per week when there is a killing.

That he owned for a total of five days......Holy crap! How can you trust a pit bull - or anything on this entire planet - in FIVE frickin' days.

This guy is a moron. He didn't deserve that poor sweet girl.

I'm a reasonable person who believes in freedom but something needs to be done with this breed. Maybe you should have to carry a 1M insurance policy and face jail time (3 years) if your dog attacks someone and causes a fatality or severe trama.

I do put the blame on 'thug' owners who are training these dog for violence.
bullshite. Something in these dogs just snaps. I've mentioned this before, but I was sitting in a room, watching a football game, and a thirteen year old pit bull that had never, ever shown any signs of aggressiveness, that knew this 13 year old boy sitting next to him his entire life, just snapped. It leapt up into face of the kid with zero provocation and in three quick bites caused the kid to have to go through surgery to repair his face multiple times. The owner was a professional doctor and lived in a home I'd have valued at over $750k at the time. These animals are just fricking crazy and something snaps in them. They should all be eliminated.

Strange dude. Alerted his podners on FB about when he was gonna be on tv concerning his story. Shared a reference concerning a football game.

Owning a pit bull -especially when you have kids- is akin to leaving a loaded weapon just lying around on the counter.

It's more dangerous IMO...the gun can't do anything on it's own. Feel terrible for that little girl.

+ 1 on the comparatively small number of Pit Bulls in existence compared to the total population of the other dog breeds in this list. The other thing that strikes me is that Pit Bulls killed more people than every other dog breed combined. When you take that into account, it is a very damning piece of information.

Surprised no one picked out this part. It didn't save the girl, but for the mom to get into position to lay on top of the dog and hold it down was ballsy to say the least. Especially given the dog was likely hyped up after the attack on the kid.

Sad story.

I am sure there are a few dogs within each breed that has an injury or some type of condition that prevents them from walking.

He showed up. Evidently I am the only one who makes him mad when saying something about him. People mentioned him a few times, I said one thing about him and his only post in this thread was to tell me to suck his dick.
