3 dead in New Jersey after running into tractor trailer

Three New Jersey women died when their car rear-ended a tractor-trailer in Woodbridge late Friday, according to police.
Brianna Martinez, 23, was driving a Nissan Altima on Route 1 near Ford Avenue when the car struck the tractor-trailer as the truck was pulling away from a stoplight at around 11:50 p.m., according to Sergeant Philip Agosta of the Woodbridge Police.
Mikayla Powell, 23, and Uchechukw Chukwuma, 24, both passengers in the Nissan, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Martinez was rushed to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital where she died.

Same thing happened here in MS about a week ago. Woman ran into back of 18 wheeler. She managed to survive and she was texting.

Unfortunately, things like this happen daily in this country because some people have a complete lack of situational awareness. It is sad and tragic, to be sure, and their families must be grieving profusely now.
