Based on my bone structure and build, yes. If I'm 188-190, I start getting surprised "how thin and lean" I look, I put on 4-6 pounds and I'm looking more jacked and athletic and people who haven't seen me for 2-3 months notice it. I think the weight comes off my face first so I end up looking thinner than I really am.

Quick question

Do you have a dog that you're in love with? Do you take pictures of you and the dog in the bath together?

Do you know what BJJ means?

Trust me. It does get better. I'm in a group where some fast 30-40 days straight. They don't just lay around half dead the entire time.

I guess I’m lucky that I never got fat so I don’t have to try all this weird shite to lose weight. Last time I weighed more than I do now was when I was in college 15 years ago.

Stay away from the processed shite, including drinks advertised as “sugar free”. I eat whatever I want but what I want is clean unprocessed foods that make me feel good.

Do some research and find out how those processed sugars and fats are making their way into your eating habits

You have to push yourself past day 3 to get the full health benefits. That's when you get the metabolic shift that regenerates stem cells. In my experience, from day 4-7, your body feels like a fn T-1000 robot. Incredible amounts of energy & mental acuity.

Try getting to 5 days next time & then 7 th3 next time & see how different you feel.

I don't think this extreme will benefit most people. I've read the benefits are negligible after 60 hours.

in my experience with 5 days you are just starting to get to the sweet spot of the benefits.

Next time try to get to that 13-15 days range and see how different you will feel!!

Yeah, that's how scientists test things. They start by observing the effects in other animals.

Yeah, I should know because I AM one.

Are you arguing prolonged fasting doesn't produce stem cells?

No. I'm saying the studies that say what you are said have only been done in mice. Show me 1 controlled human study that backs up your claim.

By not eating, he was basically burning 2000 calories a day (without exercise). BMR was doing that. He lost a pound or 2 of fat.

I have seen it proven on body scans after 2 day fasts.

Yes the rest is water

I don't disagree with that. My contention was he did not lose 4 pounds of fat fasting for 3 days. Looking back my reply was not well written.
