I have no idea who works at a data center or what they will do, but I can tell you housing is going strong in Richland Parish at the moment based on a perceived increase in need due to the one being built at Holly Ridge.

Because there’s a lot of incorrect shite spewed in this thread.

Data centers aren’t sources of electricity. What people here don’t seem to understand is that the data centers are building their own plants for power generation.

Looks like there might be a change of control provision to nuke the current power deal. If nothing else I know all the hedge fund bros who have shorted the new asset manager are going to pay to try to make this a big deal.

I know they plan on constructing a bunch but I guarantee you not all of them will be completed. I hope there are contingencies for a few of these being abandoned half-complete.

The financing went through Blue Owl

Which is about the most hilarious place they could stick it at the moment. I’ll LOL if their asset manager folds it up before the project is even in-service. Which is very possible with the moves being made against them.

I posted this in the other thread about gas bills, but there’s a pretty obvious reason why everyone’s gas bill skyrocketed in January-February.
This doesn't explain February. I just looked at the charts and the spot price was sub-4 from Jan 31st thru the end of Feb. And yet, my gas bill was more than in January AND I used less natural gas for the month.

Delta is ripping our asses off.

That’s because Delta is owned by PE. Their goal is to extract as much as they can. Folks in New Orleans are pissed and I think it’s on Wednesday there is a meeting with Delta and a council member and any public who can make it. At 530. Inconvenient time for those who work. I saw it on Reddit / NO.

What was the actual billing period?
