I’m surprised there aren’t more. Being a cop in today’s environment is a dangerous job that now they aren’t getting any support from their supervisors.

I said we should defund the Sheriff department because these are elected, corrupt politicians that are bringing in corrupt deputies.
These deputies are from other parts of the state and travel into communities to “police” through force. The deputies have no connection to the community especially if they are from another parish/county. Thus causing violence, brutality and misunderstanding between the police and the citizens of the affected areas.

These situations are not common. But on that subject, it’s also been proven that rioters go from one community to another, also furthering a divide between the community and police.
