As I would think you'd certainly know, jihad has a much broader meaning to Muslims than it does to Americans concerned with terrorism.

You mean like the younger Tsarnaev brother from the Boston marathon bombings? The one who went to Dartmouth, sold pot, and was basically just a normal college student?

Yes.

No idea what your point is though.

I never implied that "modern Muslims" can't change their views.

I've already stated that we need to destroy the ideology altogether.

First I'm agnostic. Second, I think they are showing us just fine what it means to be Muslim. The silence from that community is deafening.

Wrong. I wish i had a link but I don't. I saw a few polls right after the Orlando bombing and close to 70% supported jihad in some form.

You know jihad doesn't always mean terrorism, right?

You know Muslims fight each other constantly, and that is jihad, right?

A "jihadist" isn't always a terrorist.

That's only bc you're too far away to hear them celebrating and yelling that God is great.

Yes. In all it's incarnations it's not a good thing for westerners. Islam is the one true religion and all others are infidels, this is rule one.

The problem is that the British allowed the mooslims to migrate with no checks and balances. Now they run the place. Of course, there are some good mooslims, but there are also a lot of bad mooslims. So, you run the risk of allowing the bad mooslims in when you let the so-called good mooslims in. Wish they would just colonize Africa or something.

Catholics are pathetic on immigration and social issues. So happy my parents had the common sense to get out the Catholic Church and go nondenominational. For Hispanic that was not a popular decision.

It's still anti non believers no matter what definition you use.

Maybe not, but it is related to the thread. Most is not.

Absolutely.

Anyone willing to fight and kill over their religion is not someone I want around.

This is why I want to crush the entire ideology. All of it. And bombings and military tactics have shown time and time again to not work, so why not try something else?

Considering Arianna Grande hates America, hopefully she gets stuck in the UK.

In the most recent poll I could find:

51% of Muslim respondents in the US said that "jihad" means "Muslim's peaceful, personal struggle to be more religious."

16% called it a violent holy war against non-believers, while 11% said it is non-violent actions by Muslims to undermine non-Muslim states/peoples.

Meanwhile, 63% of non-Muslim respondents in the US said that "jinad" is a violent holy war against non-believers.

There were no comments about the tour continuing or about anybody's mental state.

I saw a verified tweet last night that her World Tour has been suspended. I can't imagine how she is feeling right now. All thoughts on her music aside, this is a pretty fricking terrible thing to deal with for her.

My bad. I meant mass shooting at the gay club. It's sad but they all run together now.

Fine by me, just pointing out the term is starkly different between Muslims and non-Muslims.

ETA: 41% of Muslims polled said jihad is an obligation of their practice, 41% said it was not an obligation.

Yea I agree. Sometimes you have to use force to get your point across. Don't tell to many people that because it hurts feelings.
