The gated one by the UPS place?
The one with the streets named after planes. Like Cessna drive. Airway court (I actually just saw there is another way in though you could take Ransom street, wow that sounds safe.

Frenchmen is getting worse now that the tourist know about it. We need to keep cool places secret from now on.

Frenchman across Claiborne might be the deadliest killing field in the city.
I still ride my bike through there tho

Behind that gas station? I've been cutting the grass at that gated complex down right past Morrison(Prince St). It feels so good to be trapped in basically the projects and not know the gate code to leave. There aren't many places in the city I feel uncomfortable, but that is definitely one of them

Does NOPD crackdown with prejudice?
These things do happen. But ON Bourbon? NO does not want skittish tourists.
I love The Quarter! I am a total tourist when I am there. I park the car and never want to see it again until I leave. This sucks. I would assume that 4th of July weekend you won't be able to walk 5 paces without seeing a uniform NOPD or extra help Parrish cop?

"From that Upper Nine and don't mind Dyin'"
The upper nine is some of the worst areas in the city. The Florida area of the upper 9 is really bad.

I was driving on Elysian Fields by St Claude a few weeks ago and saw a yard sale with a bunch of white hookers standing outside. One of the funniest things I saw all month

At least you don't go blindly in their homes. They almost always have a pot of grease in the oven too. I usually have to wear three pairs of gloves, lol.
I bill their landlords more if it's really messy.
The units you are talking about, I thought were nice. I'm talking about behind the Hardware store there is an area of nothing but crappy row houses (you find these areas all over the east) most are empty, and overgrown.
Just seems like an easy place to make a guy disappear.

We were down there yesterday morning with a large group. Had some friends staying the night. Luckily, they weren't out there at that time.

Lot's of animals come out to play on Bourbon after mid-night. Fcking scum.

Why isn't there much national press about this?
I think they have the same view that many posters have-NOLA gonna NOLA, nothing new to see here, please move along. Sadly, that's pretty accurate.

And they are continuing to migrate to Baton Rouge. Thanks Katrina.

True but usually much later?
Saw it firsthand one night. Street sweepers came out and so did the pan handlers and trolls. They knew to stay away, but when the sweepers came out it was like their alarm clock. We hauled arse into Razoo's or Cat's Meow I can't remember which. That seemed to have safety in numbers.

The girl I'm working for went into a place on the wank by herself Friday with a homeless dude sleeping in one of the units. All 8 doors in the 4-plex had been kicked in. I probably would've shot him
It really makes me wonder wtf banks want with these places. They're just shitholes for bums to sleep in and criminal activity
