Has anyone received a 2023 F150 that they ordered this year? I placed my order for a Platinum trim model in late August and was put “In Production” for the week of 11/7 with a build date for 11/9. It’s still in the same status. What should I expect?

I still haven't wrapped my mind around the idea of ordering a regular vehicle and waiting months for it.

And then having a dealership rape you in pricing when it finally arrives

Ford is going to play the game as long as people will play along. If people stop overpaying and ordering maybe they’ll have to load the lots again and give rebates.

I expect by summer 2023 for new vehicle prices to take a huge drop. Well I hope.

What’s the rush? They are offering $7k off MSRP and I have a truck, just wanting to upgrade…. I would like to see how long I might have to wait. Would prefer to private sell my current truck but timing might get tricky.

Perhaps you need to ask the people you bought it from.

Maybe you know something I don’t but they put the price out the door in writing with the interest rate

Full MSRP if you are lucky.

And eventually being on a first name basis with your mechanic.

I don’t understand the point of a dealership sales department if you have to order your truck and wait 8-12 weeks.

Why can’t you just order it from the manufacturer and have it delivered to you directly if you are going to wait that long? We should be allowed to cut the dealer out of it.

The Ford CEO is getting away from the dealership models on EVs, I would hope the rest of the operation would follow suit.

I found this on an F150 forum. It is a google doc where people have put their truck order information in. It gives you a general idea of how fast (slow) deliveries are being made.
