I would hand over my money in a heartbeat for something that looked like this with modern engineering
There would be a huge market for earlier generation SUVs with updated interior and drive train.

horrible looking thing out. I guess it looks pretty good from the side and rear, but that grill is horrible.

God those were such beautiful vehicles, but with awful transmissions. My dad was friends with a guy that owned a transmission shop and they talked me out of buying one when I was 18 or 19. It had already had the transmission rebuilt twice.
One of my favorite jokes. It's 1985, and a guy drives his white Grand Wagoneer to the Jeep dealership to trade for a new one. He is looking over the lot and a salesman approaches. Here is the conversation that ensues:
Him: Did they fix the transmission issues?
Salesman: Nope
Him: Did they fix the issues they were having with the leaky windshields?
Salesman: Nope
Him: Were they able to fix the rust issues they were having in the back corner panel?
Salesman: Nope
Him: Ok...I guess I'll take a black one.

First impression was it looked bad, but that was the busy interior and the bad grill and headlights. The rear shot looks pretty good though. Just can't get past that front end.

While I don't like it, white women will love it. And that's is exactly who Jeep is targetting with this.

It looks ok from the grill to just behind the back doors. Then it looks like the designer let his 3 year old son scribble the rest and wheels.

Looks like a Tahoe/Exped/4runner high bred.

The old Grand Wagoneers were poorly built but beautiful vehicles. That new abomination in no way is worthy of the name, even with all the problems the originals had.

I like it OK, but starting at $60 is ridiculous. Probably won't last long on the assembly line. There's going to be the Wagoneer and then the Grand Wagoneer, a longer/nicer version.

Looks horrible and if you didn't call it the wagoneer I wouldn't even consider that it was supposed to be the descendant of that beautiful vehicle.

I hope Toyota will take notice and update the Sequoia with some similar options.

They need to rename it the Jeep Douche Mobile.

I don’t hate the front but I don’t love it. The back is 50/50 for me too. It looks Land Rover-esque and slightly derpy at the same time. Unsure how to feel
