Looks like Jeep is bringing the Grand Wagoneer back next year. From the pics and few videos that have come out in the last day or so, looks pretty nice.

Inside screams we are going to charge $70k for this. Outside, looks like the larger cousin of the horrible new Cherokee with the squinty looking headlights. They hit it out of the park with the Gladiator, and then try to dump this horrible looking thing out. I guess it looks pretty good from the side and rear, but that grill is horrible.

The price tag can top $100,000, for a dang Jeep. Freaking crazy.

We had three of the late 80s Wagoneers (company vehicles for my dad) when I was a youngster so I have a strong nostalgic connection to the brand and concept, but all of this....

Yeah...not gonna pay $100k for a friggin jeep. If I wanted an unreliable $100k SUV, I’m getting a Rover.
Ed: oh and as someone pointed out, if I were actually going to spend close to $100k on an SUV that’s reliable...it would be a Land Cruiser Heritage edition

Had Jeep approached this like Ford with the Bronco, and designed something that immediately says Wagoneer, it could have been a home run. Now it is a bulked up Grand Cherokee. Major mistake. SUV's are largely boring now, and modern spin on the Wagoneer would be cool, not a Wagoneer'd Cherokee.

Yes, that is the unfortunate part. There's no doubt that's where it will be, but for that, Land Cruiser would get my vote.

I saw a guy with a fully restored one a few weeks ago. Thing looked like it was fresh off the showroom floor. He said the Jeep dealership has offered him $30k for it a couple of times. He said he was the second owner and the first owner was his uncle who gave it to him in the late 90's. Only had 110,000 original miles on it.

American car manufacturers and their busy arse interiors

And nobody who buys a 80k car wants contrast stitching, it's not 2005

LOL that probably hits home for the F150 crowd

I would hand over my money in a heartbeat for something that looked like this with modern engineering.

God those were such beautiful vehicles, but with awful transmissions. My dad was friends with a guy that owned a transmission shop and they talked me out of buying one when I was 18 or 19. It had already had the transmission rebuilt twice.
