I work for a chevy dealership, I will say those trucks are awesome... but you can honestly get the EXACT same package EXACT same everything on the truck expect for the multiple fold tailgates, for less just by buying the Chevy version lol... and if you put a ball hitch on your truck with that and use that multiple fold tail gate, that tail gate will have a nice dent/hole in it

It's all subjective, but the Chevy looks better to my eyes too.

I haven't seen a multi fold tailgate in action. Is it that cool? I was bummed that the f150 I got had the push out golf cart step in the tailgate Then again I'm in my 20s so if I can't just climb in then I have bigger problems to worry about.

And yeah, if you paid MSRP for that truck, they bent you over and used sand as lube, I mean I’m one of the head service techs so I get cost plus 5% but I have never heard of someone paying MSRP... and they should have some rebates going on, but still those rebates should not even be applied until after you buy the truck for less than MSRP... still a awesome truck, but shoulda got a better price

You bought the truck immediately before you go under the knife?

Honestly the multi fold tail gates are cool the first time you see it or use it, but to be honest with you I can’t honestly see it being used all that much... but
If you put a ball hitch on your truck, and don’t take it off your gonna HATE it when it folds down and pops that tail gate

Yeh I have heard people complaining about doing that and denting the tailgate lol. The dodge swing out door on the tailgate seems interesting but I don't think I would like it. My ford bed step has been opened twice and both times were because my 70 year old father wanted to see it because he thinks its the coolest thing he's ever seen . All due respect to Ford but that thing is an accident waiting to happen that'll leave broken parts rattling around inside the tailgate.

That post has all the makings of a mid 2000's BR rap song, "Money, cars, clothes, hoes, jail bars hell nooooo." -Webbie circa 2004(ish)

It's all a bunch of marketing to me. I've owned trucks for almost 30 years and never thought that we needed massive improvements to a tailgate. Locking with the doors is the most useful feature I've seen.

Hopefully no one.

I have gone into a dealership, test drove the car, and decided we wanted the vehicle.

I told the salesman we wanted the vehicle, and then asked what was the most he could take off the top for us. He said that they are a no haggle dealership. I said oh, ok. So I’m comfortable with paying $X dollars. He again replied, this is a no haggle dealership. So I looked at him and said, so you are not coming off that price? And again I got, we are a no haggle dealership. So we got up and walked out. Decided to grab lunch and wouldn’t you know it, got a phone call about an hour later asking if I could come back. Apparently the manager found some wiggle room.. lol

Oh absolutely, I have heard it referred to as "the tailgate wars" when I was researching truck stuff when I was buying . Idk seems like more parts to break and I have had buddies that have ripped the tailgate thing out when pulling stuff out of the bed (on accident) because the top trim part doesn't sit flush with the rest of the top of the tailgate and apparently its a pain in the arse to fix.

At 3PM, it was going to $3.00.

An hour or so later, it was $3.50.

By 7PM it's now going to $8.00.

People pay cash for trailers? WoW? Which trailer park community do you reside? Sound much more knowledgeable than the AT.

Are people still buying those made in Mexico trucks? GM is making bank on those trucks.
