If i brought you into my house you’d never know there was one model here unless I took you to my model room upstairs.
And once you end up in that room, you never leave and remained displayed as his trophy. Just ask all the models!
Do you use an airbrush to paint? (ETA: I see this was already asked and answered.)

Very nice work! What scale do you work in? I'm guessing those planes are 1/48th?

I usually go up to my model room on Friday nights when my wife and kids go to bed. I’ll work from like 10-11 until 1-2. I’ll also usually work on them on Sunday afternoons when I can. Sometimes I’ll take a Friday off from time to time and spend the whole day at my model desk. I get four weeks vacation so I can do this usually about 5-10 times a year.
As for my kids, my son is 19 and my daughter is 12. Thr only activity of theirs that still takes up much time is my daughter plays volleyball. But that season is only a little over a month long.

Most of the fighters are 1/48 scale while most of the bombers are 1/72 scale.

That's awesome. I especially love the Wolverine and Chaffer.
I don't have the patience for that hobby, but I would pay good money for the Easy Eight from Fury. I know there were problems with that movie, but it was fun.

There’s a really good kit out there from the movie.

Very envious of your bench. I haven't seen the top of mine in a few years.

I went for years where I might finish one model a year. Just didn’t have the time.

My man, I've been flirting with getting started on these myself.
Love the Spitfire and Hurricane.
Where do you buy your kits? Any Particular brands?
I'm just starting but have become obsessed with equipment over the last few months.
Want to get into sea vessels as well.

It’s a really fun hobby. I get most of mine locally. I also order from Amazon and different online hobby sites.

You did the Italian camouflage by hand, with a brush?!

I like to do history/sci fi/fantasy models I just started and i suck but it’s still fun even if you suck. I haven’t built any model vehicles yet but probably will one day.
Those have intrested me for a while. Some people are amazing at painting them and can make them look realistic.

Does the glue still smell really good?

Not nearly as smooth as your work but this a great Hasegawa kit and I should have weighted the nose more:

that makes alot more sense. I have 3 boys all under 10 and they are in every damn sport there is, seems like. I barely have time to do shite, so I was wondering.
they are frickign awesome though.
