I have a 2011 F 150 Ecoboost; 160,000 miles. Have had no issues; moonroof does not leak but I have not used it a lot.

I was told when I bought it that it was designed to get good mileage and have the ability to tow boats, etc. I have not towed anything except a riding lawn mower. Hwy mileage is 22+ at ~ 70 mph.

Edit: I did have to replace the drivers seat; bottom only. Getting in & out 1,000s of times wore it out.

Same on my 2010 and my 1999 model. How much that run you?

Ordered the seat from a place in Houston. That was ~$200 and a local car interior shop put it on for $60. I did not replace the foam; that would have been another $200 or so.

It is leather with the holes for the AC.

There is a YouTube video that explains in detail how to replace the seat cover if you want to save a few $.

I have a 17 with 40k miles and have had zero issues

No moon roof leaking issues and I go through the car wash several times a week (I own them)

The moon roofs are actually designed to leak a little but they have a channel designed to drain into a drain line. I’ve heard of the drain line clogging on trucks before but never happened to me

ETA: after reading the thread I see a lot of complaints about the moon roofs, Before this truck I had a 2009 F250 with a moonroof and had no issues out of it either. I must admit though I used neither roof very much

If it’s leaking, there’s a good chance this is why.

The science behind these engines far exceeds that of the older ones.

Translation: When that fricker breaks, it would be cheaper just to buy a new truck.

Why the F would anyone buy a Ford.....

Ford has earned their loyalty with the amazing line of Powerstroke diesels in the past 15 years.

Nothing says quality like grenading at 70,000 miles.

I have a 2017 with right at 36k. I have had the moonroof worked on 3 times for a rattle. I have had the main computer replaced and I currently have a whistle at around 40mph. I’m not sure what my next vehicle will be.

The 5.4l 3 valve engine is the worst V8 engine made since the early 80s.
Avoid those and you'll be fine

It will eventually leak, won't open, or won't close but it's repairable for $1000-2000.

It’s not 1989 anymore retard

I’ve got this exact truck. I’ve had no issues, and love it. Pulls my bay boat, and UTV trailer without issue. Owner fun tip...on the center console shift there’s a button for towing...but it also has a sport mode. S on dash gear screen will come on. Try it out it’s FUN

can confirm except mine made it to just over 100k, I spent enough fixing it between 100-130k(when I was finally able get it presentable enough to dump it off,) to have almost paid cash for a new gas F-150

Take a good look at his username.

He has pretty good general knowledge of what fails on vehicles and he isn't in love with any particular brand.
