My Ecoboost is badass son, I can peel out anytime I floor it.

Thinking about checking out a Dodge or going diesel.

I considered it until I checked out the hidden costs.

For example, 12Qs of oil per change and everything is much more expensive as far as maintenance.

those are better trucks than what most of the schmucks on here say, lots of hp/torque, good mph, kind of bare bones compared to what all these pretty baw wannabes seem to like though

The 2019 is pretty badass. My buddy has one and I really like it.

I have a 14 Lariat and love it. 118k miles, never missed a lick. Will pull anything I want. Smooth ride. Back seat is plenty big for 3.

V6 Ecoboost has a higher towing capacity than a V8 F-150.

39k miles would be a semi new truck if Toyota, but Ford that’s 10k miles away from one third of that truck’s lifespan

People see 6cyl and don’t understand the tech behind these engines.
They’re stout and you can get the HP and torque out of them without winding up to 5k rpm.

Good engine in the Mustang, longevity problems in a heavy truck. Do yourself a favor and get the V8.

I have a 2012 FX4, my wife a 2015 Explorer. Fords nav system sucks. Maps were outdated even with the newest maps. Yearly updates are available for $150, WTF. And the maps still suck (I did it once). Better off with an after market or just use Waze. Otherwise, I like my truck a lot. In hindsight, probably would have gotten the V8 rather than the eco-boost, thought it’s not given me an issues.

That would be a deal breaker for me. Supercrew is the only way to go.

Just for reference, I picked up an immaculate 2015 King Ranch (crew cab FX4) with 38k miles for right around $35k a few months ago.

They're great trucks IMO

My 120k mike easy care warranty just ran out. I’m at 125k and I’m getting scared. I have the truck I want picked out but the a-hole salesman at Courtesy in Breaux Bridge won’t respond to my emails. He knows what I have to trade and he knows what I want but apparently he doesn’t want to sell me a truck so I’m going look at the Dodges this week.

I like the new 2020 GMC’s as well so I’ve got my options open.

If the Breaux Bridge salesmen would called me back or responded to my email I would have made the trade 3 weeks ago.

I would check out Mac Haik or Holiday Ford in Texas to see what a new Lariat would cost because 35k for a used truck with 30,000 miles on it is steep imo.
