I was just looking at the old almanac and from August 13th through the 18th in 2004, the low in Covington was in the upper 50's every night that week. That cool snap had to have had a good bit of momentum. Here is to hoping that some fronts plan on arriving a tad early this year. To hell with this heat!

Come on fall. Hopefully I can spend my summers in Montana with my dad when I retire if he's still with us. Otherwise I'm going to buy my sisters out of his place and keep it for myself.

This is why I say airconditioning is head about the internet when it comes to things I cannot do without. I got enough of no a/c back in my younger days. Geeks would not be living in basements without the a/c.

Temps in western Nebraska are starting to drop off next week - highs in the mid 80s and lows in upper 50s!

I remember this.

I was working construction for my summer job that year and had to wear a jacket in the mornings.

It was glorious.

My dad said it was upper 40s this morning in the Bozeman area. He said they are having a little heat wave though and it's supposed to be mid 80s all week.

We hit 85 once this summer and it was too damn hot. I can live without that...

Perfect hiking weather is upper 50s. I don't think we will hit 70 again.

(Feel free to return the mocking when it's 28 degrees here this winter and we're all complaining about how cold it is)

I would take the temperature it was in the morning of last season’s first home game. It in had to be in the 60’s that morning.
