One of mine did this awhile back. I just put scotch tape on it.

You can thank the corruption of one Bobby Jindal for that debacle.

I didn't mind mine peeling off because I was able to reattach it when I replaced my windshield.

The batch they bought over this last year ALL peaks off

On that note, anyone notice the inspections getting stricter?

They used to be ridiculous. I had bits of mine still on my truck windshield after I moved.

It's worth the $40 to have someone bring me a sticker and put it on myself.

About 3 months after I got a sticker it started peeling. Just left it laying on the dash.

If there is anything that shows off the absolute incompetence of this state, it is this — it cannot even provide inspection stickers that actually stick.

not I.
I haven't gotten an inspection sticker in at least 10 years. I've driven maybe 2 years out of those 10 with a good inspection sticker, the first year of a new company car that came with it when i got it. My new truck didn't have one, and i'm not going get one.

I’ve read on here about inspection stickers, and inspection sticker stops by LEO’s. What is it for ?

Had the renewal sticker on the back of my drivers license fade out to blank white six months after I got it. Went to DMV and worker lady told me “they got a bad batch” and they were all doing that. I asked for a new one and the response was that I would have to pay for one. I went home and printed a fake one myself that got me past TSA and multiple traffic stops.

As far as the inspection sticker, straight money grab by the state.

1 year is $10, 2 for $20. They have month and year information on themselves.

You go in to any one of numerous service stations/oil change places and they honk your horn, check your windshield wipers, and test all turn signals, brake lights, head lights, tire wear, etc. If you fail, no sticker. Get it fixed and come back. It's in the name of vehicle safety, but as others have said, it's also a huge money grab.

Getting stopped with an expired or no sticker results in a $300+ fine.

I freakin swear yall tiger droppings do nothing but constantly bitch about your shite state of Louisiana but do nothing about it. If my state was a complete shite hole that kept regressing year after year, and if I already knew how to make all the cajun food, I would move the frick out. Obviously they lied to yall about change, and no good change is on the horizon. Might as well jump ship and go to a good state this time?
