I know Norby well, I can picture this happening at The Goose in Thibodaux.

I didn’t go to Hansen and am not from Franklin. I know him from LSU.

The Sonic was only minutes away. They could have settled things there.

Gas prices are too high...Sonic and their customers are losing out on seeing a lot of good fights because people are being forced to fight at less appropriate establishments.

To all you Hanson guys on here.... This was awesome. Love Bishop he was always a blast growing up and one of my best friends, still is. So what if he has money, his family earned it. It's called capitalism. You can't tell me that his "gentlemen's dispute," comment didn't make you laugh. Proud of you Bishop, even if I didn't know you I'd vote for you after this...

For possibly instigating a fight, not swinging and letting another man beat on him, and then saying “we” settled it with our fists?

I’m no Norby fan, but it sounds like Bishop’s mouth wrote a check that his arse couldn’t cash

If more men settled their differences this way instead of holding grudges it would lead to much better relationships for legislation. No matter how much I despised a person I fought, I always respected him more after the fight (even if he whipped my arse, which happened more times than I would like to admit). Nice to see men being men for a change.

We disagreed, we fought, no charges or cops/lawyers/judges are necessary. Move along.

I didn't go to Hanson, but went to a HS in Acadiana. I knew Bishop in HS as he was around some of the same places and girls. We were also at LSU at same time.

There is a Sonic 6 blocks away.

This is why Louisiana's government sucks.

Have interacted with both a good bit. Bishop running HNR Committee meetings is excellent entertainment. I can totally see him verbally filleting Norby, and Norby comes across to me as a volatile sort that would take exception.

Bishop has his sights set on being the Speaker of the House, he really didn’t need a brawl on his resume.
