It’s like being a priest, teacher (the really good kind), etc. it’s a calling that some have and while dangerous, we’re all more likely to die in a car crash or terminal cancer than a cop is to die from a gunshot. I’m very pro-LE and not trying to diminish what these guys do, I’m just putting into perspective why people become cops. You can’t live life scared, because there are a million ways to die and a bullet is just one of them.
RIP to these heroes.
