Amazing building. Also a portion of Frampton Comes Alive was filmed there.

A bunch of Gattica was filmed there as well.

Must have missed that class.

ETA: I should have figured it out. I initially thought FLW was the previous owner's initials.

Thank you thank you. I had looked up the snow and weather.
They had had a 28" snowfall in September in the town I was to be sent to.

Oh dear lord.

I heard the house that they bulldozed two years ago on Richards and Conway was a FLW. One day it was there, the next it was gone. The roof probably leaked anyway. It looked quite similar to the one in your pics. FLW also always liked to put low ceilings in his houses because he was short and didn't like tall people.

I was in Rochester, MN this week for work, and I went and found the 3 FLW homes there. If I can figure out how to post pics, I'll put them up.

Looks similar, but not as nice, as the one here in town.

They both look like my Elementary school.

My grandfather had a huge mancrush on FLW, even took me to see one of his houses outside Phoenix. He designed the house he and my grandmother built on Sherwood Forest in 1954 and with the exception of updated furniture looks like a cheaper version of this house....and I want it to stay that way forever.

My grandfather was the architect.

My family used to have an old lakehouse that looked very similar on the inside material wise.

I'm guessing it was a popular look at the time.

I'm going to hold out for Prince's Paisley Park.

It looks like a cool place to spend a weekend with a couple hits of acid.
