It is a bit unfair to compare New Orleans to say Austin. Few cities blur the line from safe neighborhood to ghetto quicker than New Orleans. Having said that you are right for the most part.

Austin is 500x better than NOLA. I get what you're saying, but Baltimore would be a much better comparison.

I can't say how many customers I have in NOLA who leave their doors open. So many call and say "Door's unlocked just go in and call me when you figure it out"
We didn't lock our doors growing up and if I'm home I rarely lock it. Except at night.

We played TPC a few weeks ago and walked around downtown a bit. I felt pretty damn uneasy a few times. It might be me getting wiser but NO seems sketchier than 15 years ago.
