Do they not understand how the collection of taxes on sale from people that live nowhere near you is a good thing?

Also 200-250 employees on payroll. For a tiny little interstate exit town, that can be substantial.

And companies open businesses next to Buc'ees because of the foot traffic it draws. Fast food, coffee shops, small retail stores, and even small hotels.

They are enormous buoys for small local economies.

I drove past that exit today on my way to Tennessee and there is nothing around that vicinity. Plenty of room for a buc-ees

Buc-ee's will bag it if there is too much protest. Just move on to the next spot.

They're well lit, clean and bring in mostly families. Not to mention LOADS of jobs for locals and I'm sure some good tax revenue.

Not to mention multiple armed security personnel in uniform, and multiple attendants in the bathrooms at all times.

They built a Buc-ees at Auburn, Al. I love having it there.

The only stop on my way to Woodstock, Ga. Clean, Friendly Workers, good Food and Drinks! Great price on gas.

I really don’t understand these people. We have a small group of people that are against the one in Ruston too. 200+ jobs at $17+ an hour starting. Not to mention they are going to have other businesses open around them bringing even more jobs.

Not always. I drove past the Richmond, Kentucky one today, and there’s still nothing on that exit.

That’s fine. They can build that one right next to my neighborhood. I’ll happily support it. Get my food, gas, backyard grilling, and clothing needs all in one stop.

Lol. Stupid arse local nimby’s. As pathetic as it sounds, getting a Buc-ee’s is like winning the lottery for a bumfrick town like Mansfield. They’ll never have another investment like that.

Yes, but the town of Mansfiield has its fair share of libs. The county is primarily farms and Amish. BTW I highly recommend Wayne’s Market and their Wayne’s Dip

Nevermind. Got it confused with grove city. I havent been up there in a decade

Looked it up out of curiosity.
