He wasn't stabbed in the neck, news got that completely wrong. Just wait till the actual particulars come out, the stuff of movies.
Edit for additional info: the selection of his victim has nothing to do with him being gay, just terrible luck.

The suspect was still at the scene .. I'm wondering what prompted the police to even go there. Glad they got to him when they did.
