I tried to hangout with a 19 year old earlier this year because the cat was fiyah but I just couldn't do it. There is a serious generational disconnect that can't be overcome

Yeah I'm only 25 and I can hardly stand the average 19 yo for an extended time anymore.
But don't get me wrong, I still try my best to run through Tinders local supply of 19 year olds. And it's great because in the few years I've been using tinder there is never a shortage of fresh 18 and 19 year olds

I just moved into a new town. I met up with an 18 year old, for the same reason. It took 15 minutes, and I've never felt so old. When she said she loved really old comedies, I was intrigued. But she was talking about movies from like 98/99. I fricking myself drove to some of those movies.
She also said she was really into memes. How the can you be into memes? They're just jokes online. Someone saying their into jokes just seems weird.
Now, if they're younger than 25, they better be in grad school. Otherwise, the disconnect is definitely there.
