So those were his dad's drums and he even wore a pair of his dad's shorts that were inspired by Van Halen's guitar.

People ITT can hate Dave for his political views but moments like these should be above criticism and just be appreciated.

How many people would love to be able to honor their dad in such a way? Just enjoy it for what it is.

That's a great thing to see. You know Taylor must have spent a lot of time with his son for him to have that kind of talent by 16. That's the best gift a Dad can give his kids.

Seemed like a proud dad

I just hope that the emulation stops there. Sadly, it's often cyclical. I hope that his support network is strong.

Great tribute to his dad.

The only thing Dave Grohl is a fan of is attention.

Dave Grohl isn’t even in the title of the thread. It’s about a 16 year old boy playing his heart out in honor of his deceased dad. Start a new thread to discuss Dave Grohl’s personality.

If people hate all musicians who are liberal, they must not like very much music.

Fact.

if you like any pop cultural institution, you're dealing with leftists. If you let their retarded drivel drive you away, you let them win. Enjoy the music, disconnect from the person. I don't care for Dave myself, but I do like a couple of his songs.

I don't expect pop stars to be social geniuses.
