Don't bring that point up here. I tried to do that and was called ignorant. I'm still licking my wounds.

My dad's radiation oncologists is only 26. He graduated high school at 12 and was a practicing doctor by the age of 22 IIRC.

He is gonna miss out on a ton of fun. But there will be plenty of time for hookers and blow.

Did it say what he studied? I just hope it wasn't industrial or some bullshite like that. Impressed if he did EE, ME, or ChemE. He should have studied a basic science so he could have his PhD by the time he's 20.

Sheldon from Big Bang Theory got his undergrad at Texas. It's usually the case for these child prodigies that get their undergrad work very close to home. Then when they are teenagers they go off for their masters and graduate programs.

Yea, computer science. Also surprised he sounded like he was looking for a job still. Why not go to grad school when still so young?

you are smart enough to graduate at 16, clearly you're smart enough to go to a place like Harvard/Yale/MIT. So why go to LSU
You see that a lot with prodigies that graduate so early. You don't often hear about them graduating from very prestigious universities. Not because they can't I'm sure, but they often are at some small no name or state school. Must just be close to home or something

I was thinking the same thing. Normal home school kids are already so freaking weird and socially awkward. Then add his exceptional intellect on top of that. Bet that is one weird little kid.
Pretty amazing accomplishment though, good for him!
