What does this have to do with anything? Damn, a CHILD has taken his own life. Prayers for the family.

Sad situation for a suicide to happen.

Very sad. We see quite a few kids that age at work sadly that attempt suicide.

That age was really rough for me in the early 90s. I was teased and picked on and can remember the despair of having such a young irrational mind that thinks things will never get better and unable to grasp just how temporary this mindset really is. I won't lie and say I never considered suicide at that age cause I remember thinking it fleetingly, but always pushing that thought away....knowing deep down that things won't always suck. Thankfully I got older and just realized how much that age sucks.

Some kids just can't push the thought away I would imagine.....until they really believe it's the only way out of the pain they are feeling.

And that was before social media. I can imagine it has to be even more incredibly tough to be an unpopular, awkward kid this day and age.

A lot of people here attempt to do their best impression of 4chan/Reddit shock and awe a-hole responses for the upvotes or downvotes. It's pretty pathetic.

Was it a self-inflicted gunshot wound? If so, are you positive it was a suicide? Could he have been toying with the gun and it accidentally went off? Tragic nonetheless.

from what I understand, in the living room when it happened. Both father and mother. Kid was in his bed room.

Damn!

Horrible news. Anyone with kids or even those without but have even the slightest amount of empathy should be able to sympathize with his family and friends.

I can't think of why anyone would downvote this post.

If you find out more let us know. I'll bet it was over a girl. Most suicides by kids at that age are. Prayers for the parents.
