Mass shooting aside, what a sad, sad shell of a town. Place really use to be something. Was the biggest city anywhere north of New Orleans with the timber mill and the railroad. It’s completely destitute now. Just a big pile of poverty.

No it won’t happen because compared to 40 years ago Bogalusa is a shite Hole, if what’s left of the mill ever leaves or Walmart moves 20 miles down the road that will be the end of Bogalusa.
