That's a nice building. A company I worked for use to have their corporate HQ in there before the mass exodus to Houston. I'd like to know when these a-hole Democrats in power will realize their cities are going to shite because of their policies.

Yet.

It's only a matter of time until they sell to private equity.

Well I work not far from their current HQ and they just did a pretty massive remodel of the office. Its strange to spend a ton of money on remodeling an office and then bailing on it within a year or 2.

The article says they are moving out of a New Orleans high-rise. Not the same building you are mentioning.

I got lunch at Luzianna Cafe today and one of their guys told me they are moving people from both locations. The high rise makes more sense since thats rented space but they own the recently renovated space.

The Reily's don't really run the business. My uncle ran Reily for over 30 years. He came from Proctor & Gamble in NYC to Reily in like 1970. The guys running are all top notch food guys.

Nope. They are staunchly private and have turned down hundreds of offers from IPOs to private equity buyouts. Bo Reilly is a really good guy and a huge benefactor of many local institutions. They are one of the most under the radar billionaire families around.

Bo comes into the office @9, drinks coffee and reads USA Today until 10:30. Leaves for lunch at the club @11 and golf/tennis/shuffle board until 5.

Yep. Perhaps lunch at The Boston Club and a round at NOCC. Not a bad way to live.

Unless you live next to the head quarters on Poydras you are talking about the reno on Jeff Davis which the article mentions nothing about.

Calm down Bo. I admitted I don't know shite about your company. I just found it odd that you would remodel your office and then bail.
