That's awfully young to come out normal after killing someone. Hope it all works out.

The only reason people think this is because they’ve been told by mass media and the entertainment industry that they should feel that way. Killing other people has been around since humans were alive. If it’s done in self defense or during war it’s not an unnatural act.

I hate that he had to do that, but good on his parents for teaching him how to shoot so he was prepare to handle this situation.

Getting shot is bad enough, but can you imagine getting smoked by a 30-06 from 10 feet away.

That scene must have been brutal.

that's a fast pass through. Bullet wouldn't even have time to expand. Pinhole in, pinhole out. If I had to guess I'd say nothing a few Brawny's couldn't clean up.

ETA: assuming a body shot. Head shot would look like Gallagher.

But I can't imagine a 12 year old having to go through that. Tough kid.

Imagine how fricked up this kids head is now. He witnessed his mothing getting assaulted and potentially raped/murdered. And then he killed the perp on top of all of that. My heart goes out to that kid. Saved his mothers life.

We’re conditioned from birth in modern times to not kill other humans. It’s now ingrained in us. It’s hard to break tha. Kid probably hasn’t hit puberty, it’ll give him nightmares for sure.

The fact they even need to say they don't have charges on the boy or doesn't have evidence is how stupid we are. He was messing with the family and family did what they need to do. Take them out.

Maybe if it happened to me I would feel differently but I just can’t imagine feeling bad over killing a criminal. I just think I could do it and not lose any sleep over it

Incorrect. Ultra high impact speed = ultra violent expansion.

Killing that turd will have less of an impact on that young man than had he not shot him and he’d have beaten, raped then killed his momma.

Now legally speaking if mom or another adult had drugs at the house and that’s what the criminal trio was there to steal - does that change anything?
