4 people in ww2 survived falling out of shot down planes with no parachute. One with no major injury.

If I'm on a plane that's going down and I have a parachute strapped to my back I'm jumping. Just like if I'm 50 stories up in a elevator and the cable breaks...Right before it slams into the ground I'm jumping up in the air...What the hell do I have to lose doing either?

But they didn't know they could jump out of the plane ?
That was the ritual. More of a sacrifice. They were sent up on a kamikaze flight with just backpacks.

It wasn’t experienced jumpers—it was tandems. Instructors won’t leave their students behind.

How will you know to jump though?

12 people were killed in a similar crash in Missouri, I think, last week. All instructors and parachutists.

By perfect timing.

If it opened it might be worth the chance, the other option didn't work out very well.
If the plane stalled on takeoff, they probably did not have time to even realize what was happening, much less jump and attempt to deploy their chute.

I guess France will blame this on as as well since we are responsible for the heat wave

Eleven people were killed when a plane crashed in eastern France on Sunday
They could have died of heat stroke or stabbed in the chest by one of the sand people.

Parachute ain’t going to save you 500 feet off the ground baw
The tandem chutes are designed to inflate slower than single chutes to reduce the shock. This just makes their situation worse.
