Terrible. Have flown through there once and we have a lot of executives that travel through each week.

How is this even possible?

I'm no expert but I'd say the most likely possibilities are pilot error or mechanical failure.

That's my guess as well. I've seen aircraft hit hangars while taxiing, but I've never heard of one actually crashing in to a hangar on, what I assume as, takeoff.

I'm no expert either, but one possibility is that the pilot was trying to turn back to the runway.

Would you say it's probably pilot error then?

Yeah king airs are some of the most reliable planes out there from the little knowledge I have

Without having any facts I would say that there’s a 99.9% it was pilot error. I have 3K hours in King Air 350’s in some of the most harsh environments on the planet and the only serious mechanical issue I’ve ever had is a loss of pressurization. And that’s because the plane I was flying was old as dirt and so heavily modified that it had probably 30 holes drilled into the pressure vessel.

An expensive toll-road.

Hope it wasn’t another DEF contamination incident.

Atlanta doesn't appear to have one. Why would you lie to me? It's not very common is all I was implying. Meanie Pants.

Saw one about 10 years ago break (ish). Took off and as soon as the wheels were up it was a hard bank towards the tree line. I had already pulled the crash phone. Guy recovers and misses tree tops by 20 feet or so. Something like the nose gear not aligned with a stuck rudder?
ETA: could have been a wrong surface landing into a hanger
