I’m against all student loans actually. If you can’t pay for college or get a scholarship, it’s time to go to work.

Dude, that's a basic biologist search. There are about a million environmental consulting firms that are constantly looking for people with degrees in biology and chemistry. You're a fricking moron.

If we can bail out banks we can bail out citizens who provided tax income to help those assholes.

Biology and chemistry bachelors degrees are economically worthless.
Chemists at my dad's plant that work in the lab making six figures.

My grandfather built his house in the 60s.
My father bought a house in 1984 with a 14% variable interest rate. 3 beds, 2 baths, bonus room, 1900 square feet. Cost $62,000.
Guess what happened in a couple of years? His rate started going down, and eventually got to about 6%.
Eventually my parents divorced and I moved in while in college, got roommates, and paid the note. The note (PITI) was $545 a month.
When dealing with debt, I will ALWAYS take a low balance and a temporary higher rate, as opposed to a high balance with a lower rate.

I'm looking now. Preliminary research On glassdoor is showing averages for all salaries, as in including salaries of highly experienced and highly credentialed employees, at 62k For environmental consultants. That’s not bad, but it ain’t crazy. Again that was the average of all salaries. Wouldn’t give me data on positions that required 2 years or less experience or for those with no advanced degree. I imagine those positions make less.
The glassdoor average for environmental scientist is only 51k.

And are these chemists 22-25 years old with bachelor degrees? Because I'm guessing they probably aren't.
What's funny is I clicked on 3 random "environmental consultant" job postings and one of them specifically stated that it was entry level, yet stated that 3-5'years of post grad experience was the minimum requirement to be considered for the job.

Umm, that's part of the point.
Isn't it interesting how today's snowflake has to have scraped hardwood Instead of carpet? Quartz counters instead of formica? You guys can say it cost less all you want. And it did. But don't try to tell me "Boomers" are more needy than our lazy, pompous and entitled asses.

It is more profitable to make "luxury" apartments and that "starter" homes are not being built anymore. How are we supposed to buy a product that is no longer made?

Prior to enrolling a there should be a class showing the risks of working in the food service industry and graduation rates and loan defaults.
