It really puts in perspective how amazing it is that none of the countless people on this board who have seen a black panther have been maimed or killed yet.

probably cut it up and made himself a panther-skin cap right there on the spot, too...

well, she was on horseback, on the way home from a quilting bee, so probably, plus they didn’t waste much back then

Archery elk hunting in New Mexico, sitting a waterhole one evening. Herd of elk are about 100 yards away coming to me. Mountain Lion cuts between us and ruins my hunt.

Poor execution. You never say “could have been me”. Keep it subtle like “wow, I just bought a bike the other day” or “I was just watching a documentary on big cat last night.” Leave it at that. Some lame will then come in and say “that could’ve been you :insertlaughingemoji:” and they’ll get the downvotes.

Cool and tense video of hikers and ML not the Vancouver Island one

Those guys were morons. They actually followed the mountain lion down the trail and before they knew it, the mountain lion had the high ground and was staring them down.

I had a run-in with a cougar on a trail at night in Colorado last September while elk hunting.

I'm damn lucky I saw his eyes with my light before I walked past him.

Here's the story.

What a fricking pussy.

Can you imagine leaving your friend being attacked and not try to help them?
