45 and raining in Lake Charles.

30 miles west and about 15 miles north of you it’s 37.8 degrees at my house. This thing is playing out to where a very short distance could mean everything.

I just setup my AWN weather station so I can have real time temps at my house. So I’ll be watching that and drinking beer all night.

This has been a complete nothing burger so far here in Tupelo

So far… I figure that when the temps drop a couple degrees as it gets dark, this rain is going to turn back to ice?

I’d rather a week of zero degree temps with no power than a couple days straight of multiple young kids in the house with nowhere to go.

Thankfully I had an indoor birthday party to wear them out this morning

Youngest won’t even watch ms Rachel, which isn’t a bad thing he has zero screen time, but god damn I wish he would on weekends like this

Raining its arse off in the woodlands, we’ve gotten several good rain making bands since early this morning.

Still in the 40s but feels much colder

Grass is almost covered here. Side streets are dicey because it’s just sticky as shite.

Dropped a degree here in less than a hour. It’s going to get below freezing way earlier than predicted it seems.

Just got back to Austin from Gun Barrel City. Roads were holding on fine but this coming wave is likely gonna make them impassible. Never seen I-35 that empty.

Where are you?

If you think today is bad, tomorrow morning will be a BEAR!

These are the days I long for the 97 degree sunny day in August.
