I saw the replay but they didn't show all the way through the play. I wanted to see it.

That was a seriously brutal injury.
They just kept showing it.

Jesus that's bad. Also, looked like he caught the ball to me and I'm a Saints homer.

I loved all the people pissed he didn't get a TD just because he was injured. Were not giving out free points here.

How is that even possible

Holy shite that looks photoshopped as frick with how bad of a bend that is. Can't believe it's real. I avoided looking at it live/on replays as I was eating.
And it's only a dislocated knee?

They're upset because that was a catch and a touchdown. Ball never hit the ground, and it ended up in his arms while he was on his back inbounds. I don't think the NFL knows what a catch is anymore.

Prayers to the guy. Was a hell of a play and he got robbed on the reversal even if it was the right call. Just feel for players in that situation.

The ball hit ground and moved.

This is so far from the truth.

It likely did touch the ground and was clearly moving but from the replays shown you couldn’t clearly see it hit the ground.

Yes you could, and the NFL unfortunately wants the player to hold the ball to show possession all the way to the point of getting up off the ground. Remember the Bryant no-TD from years back? Miller rolled over and let a shaky possession at that point roll out of his hands as he felt the onset of the injury (unfortunately). No catch bro. By rule.

I cant stand the Bears but how is that free points? The refs botched that call. The guy had control of the ball the whole time. How long do you want him to hold onto the ball after he comes to a complete stop bc it surely didnt hit the ball during the play.

All thes definitive statements are amusing. The call on the field should have stood as called, but either interpretation was within possibility.

Regardless of the touchdown or not I hate to see this from any player. Hope he recovers soon.

I know a dislocated kneecap usually involves multiple torn ligaments, so I'm betting there's some additional damage. Some of our medical folks would know more than I
