Who are you choosing?

I like Cross a lot if he’s there.

I like Ram at LT, with the rookie being a RT.

Why switch Ram? He’s fantastic at RT

Penning, he’s nasty! Has that Turley attitude, may even be a better blocker.

LT is Ram's natural position and they already worked his contract out for him to move to LT. He is already an all pro tackle, so no reason to keep him on the right.

I like Ram and Hurst and 2 stud WR's on Rookie deals. WR's are becoming ridiculously expensive so you're all of sudden creating a competitive advantage by that position on rookie deals...similar to rookie deal QB's.

Evan Neal

He’s an athletic freak that can play either tackle or guard

Neal.

Has experience everywhere, is the best athlete (a legitimate freak show), and is the best run/pass combo.

Like, not close in my eyes. Every other tackle has one glaring issue and Neal's biggest issue is possibly not projecting as the best pass blocker in the class.

Ickey Ekwonu

I like the PFF analysis that he's like a Zach Martin/Quentin Nelson type where he can be a good OT but possibly an all-pro OG.

I think Ickey is a tad small for tackle in the league, but that’s my opinion.

He’s a freak yet declined to test at the combine and pro day. He would be a virtual lock at 1.1 if he performed freakishly. Makes ya wonder? I see him more destined to play OG than Ekwonu if we are talking about moving inside.

OL with weight issues always scare me a bit. Guy was almost 4 bills at one point

Cross. He only allowed 4 pressures in 500 pass attempts last year in the SEC West. He has franchise starting LT written all over him. But I’d rather just stay where we are and take Penning who isn’t a big drop down from Cross. He plays nasty as hell like you want from an OL. Then you make the decision if you want him on the right and Ram on the left or let the rookie play LT and you still get a round 1 receiver which is almost a must have.

Cross is a good athlete but he's short, light, and not overly strong.

We are going to be leaning on our running game until we get a QB1, so I don't see how Cross fits to this team.
