frick No, let’s give a huge extension!!!

ETA Hill has zero trade value, he’s too old too expensive and just a gimmick player. Fun to have him in fantasy today but fluke games are not sustainable (see Sean Tucker)

This just isn't true.
Hill is getting old and will start getting hurt more but it's not a gimmick. He just needed a legit oc.

He has always produced. He makes 10mil. It's a little high but not crazy for what he does.

QB/RB/TE is 100% gimmick

What exactly? The occasional big game but mostly small contributions around injuries

A little high? it’s fricking stupid he has 2 void years in 26 and 27 with cap numbers of 9.7M and 3.9M

Before this season, the saints are 16-1 when Hill Atleast has 7 touches. Hardly a gimmick

He’s been with the team since 2017 and only has 17 games with 7 touches, that’s pretty much the definition of gimmick

Imagine being such a simpleton you don’t understand the difference between big picture and 1 game. He had a spectacular game but it’s just that 1 game, it’s not sustainable, it’s not something you can count on week in and week out. His contract is way out of line for his role on a team with massive cap issues. And this fun win just means they will finish with what 7 wins and a pick closer to the middle of the round, again. Yeehaw!!

Taysom is a beast and many teams would be very thankful to have his services. Not a gimmick.

The two touchdowns were great but he also had two turnovers. I guarantee you if carr has two turnovers and two touchdowns and we won, the same people lining up to blow taysom would say Carr was terrible and got lucky

I get your point but its hard comparing a gadget player to your starting QB. Plus what Taysom did (180 total yards 3 TDs and 2 turnovers) to me thats like Carr throwing 400 yds 3 TDs and 2 int. If he did that- I agree it would be dumb to criticize him. But I also can’t remember the last time he has done that.

Health aside, you taking Deebo or Taysom straight up? Both very versatile, but Taysom is more physical and there’s always that threat of the pass with him. Gimme Taysom.

While valid, im probably taking Debo. 28 vs 34 year old.

With How physical Taysom plays, im taking the odds of having Debo for another 8 years (theoretically) as opposed to Taysom who will start to lose his athleticism in the next few years

Yes. Sell high. We need a lot of things to be a contender again.

If someone wanted to give us something or we’d get cap relieve 110%. He’s a 35 year old running gadget player who thrives on contact. The injuries have already started and are only going to progress at his age. He’s not a sustainable player.

He’s not “getting old” he’s already a huge outlier in terms of age for the type of game he plays. No team is going to give anything of value for the guy.

If it would stop these dumbass threads from popping up EVERY TIME he has a positive game, gets a touchdown, scratches his nuts and lets not forget has two turnovers. Then yes

Damn, we should just hand it to him the first 7 offensive plays then. W
