None of those guys were great last year, but now we are looking at a major overhaul with limited ways to overhaul.

100%. wish we could've kept onyemata, but we'd have to try and have worse dt's this year. good year to draft multiple dt's.

The DT were good I thought.
Not so much the DE but I seem to be very very wrong.

as fas QB sacks, Cam Jordan was the leader last year.

Cam 8.5
Ellis 7
Davis 6.5
Granderson 5.5
Onyemata 5
Street 3.5
JT Gray 2.5
Tuttle 2
Kpassgnon 2
Turner 2
Mathieu 1
Chris Harris 1
Roach 1
Davenport 0.5

I walked it down to the last D-lineman on the board via Pro Football Reference stats.

QB Hits

Cam Jordan 13
Onyemata 11
Ellis 10
Granderson 9
DeMario 8
Street 8
Davenport 8
Kpassagnon 6
Tuttle 3
Turner 3
JT Gray 2
Roach 2

walked it down again until the D-line had all been accounted for.

Tackles for Losses

Cam 13
DeMario 10
Granderson 9
Ellis 7
Onyemata 5
Street 5
Turner 5
Kpassagnon 3
Mathieu 3
Werner 3
Davenport 2
Roach 2
Adebo 2
J Evans 2
Tuttle 1

again, walked it down until the Dline regulars were all gone.

One of those things that if you don’t specifically watch the Dline it’s hard to tell wether it’s the DTs or the DEs that cause the Dline to suffer. Like you, I had no idea a lot of it fell on poor DT play, but it makes sense why practically the same DEs from the prior year would suddenly no longer be able to get to the QB as much

You never know it may be a blessing in disguise, they may sign a really good FA or 2, and then draft some good rapidly developing youngsters that may give them a even better interior Dline.

Onyemata has always been a steady force, but the other guys not so much.

Here's hoping our first 2 picks are D-line and they hit ( ) and Payton Turner steps up ( )

Zion Turner.
I hope he wears one of those giant red inflatable domes all pre season.
Then once the season starts unleash the kraken. Or did his face fall apart
