All people do on this board now is bitch about how the nfl is becoming too political when other sports leagues like the nba are clearly way more political but that doesn’t take away their fans excitement to watch their teams play. The amount of post of people saying how depressed they are, want to be fans of different teams and refuse to buy another saints ticket is just pathetic I thought we were suppose to be the most loyal fan base in fb and after one political controversy we all of a sudden have no desire to watch the saints play?

Problem is the actual product has been watered down and corrupted. Then you have this political bullshite and people are sick and tired of it. Are they sick enough to stop watching? Probably not.

absolute fricking trash. If you aren't going to watch the Saints/ NFL anymore, get the frick off this board. Bring your whiny bullshite to politics or the OT (since all they do is bitch and moan nowadays).

The question you should be asking is why the Saints, a source of entertainment, thought it was best to alienate a number of their fans by becoming just another SJW org spewing biased and incorrect narratives.

No man. I'm not asking myself that. I use the Saints and sports in general as an escape from all the outside noise. It's something I try to enjoy (even though the Saints can make that difficult historically).

So the Saints get to say their political piece but the fans who literally pay their bills have no say? frick you man. Sounds like you should be equally mad at the Saints for getting political.

Should Saints fans not have an avenue to complain about the imploding of their beloved team and the complete destruction of their best player?

Unfortunately SJW stances are becoming the norm everywhere from Hollywood to now many different sports leagues due to feeling the pressure from the media and some fans to speak on certain issues to make it appear that you care about what’s going on in the country. For example the Knicks didn’t say anything about the BLM protest or George Floyd for a long time and got absolutely destroyed by the media and their fanbase until they finally put out a statement yesterday

Pretty much when the team (All black) turned on the face of the franchise and pretty much said he’s a racist when he’s walked the walk and put his money where his mouth is doing more for the city of New Orleans than all the ones talking shite combined have done in their in entire life.

In drew’s Defense if he didn’t issue an apology the media would’ve continued to shite on him and the locker room would’ve been completely divided as most of our marquee players( cam Jenkins MT Kamara ET) were all pissed at him. On top of that he was apparently getting death threats so in his defense his hands were kinda tied

And last week members of the saints team became maybe the loudest source of that noise nationwide for a few days. They did that by shitting all over a teammate and a guy on the Mount Rushmore of people who helped rebuild New Orleans after the storm.

It’ll probably be a few weeks before the board starts discussing who the fourth DT is

Have you even kept up with the NFL lately or any pro sport for that matter? All the black athletes do is use it for their personal forum! That my friend is what has ruined ALL sports for me and a lot of others, that is why! Wake the frick up!

Yes, it should be entertainment and a release from the stress of life in general but it has been ruined!

I have opinions. Im going to verbally attack my coworkers on social media, call them racists, and demand they kowtow to my hysterical demands.

Let's see how this plays out.

Two men, who both support the same movement. One thinks disrespecting the flag takes things too far. The other thinks anything, including riots, goes.

One is crucified, labeled as a racist, and nearly run out of the city. The other is deified.

This doesn't seem fair to me at all.

And to generalize the loudest, mob voices of social media as "public opinion" shows ignorance. Polling has expressed that most folks don't like kneeling and rioting. It cheapens the message.

He was treated like shite and as football fans, we are lucky he didn't leave.
