Who are your top 6 out of this group of 13?
Michael Thomas
Chris Olave
Marquez Callaway
Deonte Harty
Tre'Quan Smith
Lil'Jordan Humphrey
Kawaan Baker
Kevin White
Jalen McCleskey
Easop Winston
Kirk Merritt
Rashid Shaheed
Dai'Jean Dixon
#1-#4 - I have Thomas, Olave, Callaway, & Deonte Harty as locks.
#5 - Tre'Quan
#6 - Rashid Shaheed
I also like Lil'Jordan & Dai'Jean Dixon after reading up on him
Kevin White has no chance this year. Probably shouldn't even be on the roster

We did just sign Trequan to a new 2 year deal, albeit a very modest one. We seem to value his versatility since he can play multiple positions.
Some camp body WR is going to have to go straight Mike Hass to knock him off the roster.

Tre'Quan's blocking, versatility, & knowledge of our system will probably be why he makes the roster imo.
He always has some really good games & some really bad games each year. Hopefully he can be more consistent. Thats his weakness.

Locks IMO.
Kevin White was good on special teams. Not good as a WR. I think Lil’Jordan and White end up on the PS again and get called up if needed.
Baker and Winston have inside tracks on last spot maybe. Dixon is the early favorite for the Ojo award this year.

this is a great discussion. I think TreQuan will be especially vulnerable this year since DA has no loyalty to him. It wont take much for a younger player to surmount him.
I'm not sold on Dixon, but Shaheed is extremely interesting to me. He's got an advantage as a returner.

Harty took a lot of lumps as the return man and took some steps forward as a true wideout. I believe Shaheed will make the roster to be the return man and Harty will be strictly wideout.

TreQuan has some trade value as well - he's a veteran who has produced, and is on a cheap contract.

Harty's future will be interesting to watch. Is Olave now our burner? Shaheed is a 4.4 guy with lethal return skills. Is he going to be a bigger version of Harty?
Harty will have to prove his worth as a pass catcher this season.

I think this too. If Shaheed can stick as a return guy, we can let Harty focus on being strictly at wideout.

You’re right about that, it’s tough because Shaheed can easily be a gadget player and fill Harty’s role. He’s bigger and could prove to be more durable but I’d like to think you want a few of those guys on your team instead of one.

Doesn’t mean he’ll do Dick in the pros but the Shaheed film is very impressive.

We must have the highest comma to the top first name wr room in the league.

It would appear this is the plan at the moment

Dai' has a great chance since most of our WR's are shorter. 6'4", ran a 4.6 40, good receiver for Nicholls. He needs to put on NFL weight, but he runs great routes, and understands getting in the open on Zone coverages. Good kid too.
