Will there be an effort to try and get the Saints to trade up for him if he doesn't go #1 ?

I don't think anyone has thought of that, good point.

Not a remote possibility.

But, on the other hand, with the utter shite show that the Falcons and Panthers are trotting onto the field every week and both their seasons in free fall. The real and concerning question becomes...

Will we have to face Burrow in our own division?

That would suck. And Atlanta would be just petty and vindictive enough to do it.

How does that make them petty & vindictive? There is no chance Burrow ends up with the Saints in the draft, and if you ask this board the Saints don't draft LSU players anyway. To be petty & vindictive, they should trade away their 1st this year so they can draft Fields w/ their 1st rounder next year.

the thing that intrigues me most about your South Park Gif is the poop expanding in width after it comes out of his butt.

Like these dudes got together and said you know, with the physics of human weight added to poop it would realistically expand at the bottom as he rose. And added that effect in.

^^^all that up there in infinitely more interesting than what the OP posted.

The assholes that start these threads almost never stick around to try and discuss it

Why?

The Saints don't have enough draft capital currently to move up from the bottom of the 1st to the top. The best chance they would have is maybe trading a player for one of the Dolphins or Raiders 1st round selections then packaging that with their own 1st and possibly other 2020 and 2021 picks.

Edit: Dolphins have 3 1st round picks and the Raiders have 2

I’m just going to keep copying and pasting this in all these dumbass threads.

Joe Burrow is the consensus pick for the Bengals.

NFL mockdraft database has about a thousand mock drafts saying Burrow will be the #1 pick by the Bengals.

NFL Draft Value Chart

The value of the #1 pick is 3,000 points this year.

Total value of every Saints pick for 2020 equals 911 points. It would likely take every pick this year and next year which still probably would not be enough.

You’d probably have to trade every pick this year plus Lattimore or Kamara or Thomas or someone like that. Plus, the Bengals are notoriously stingy when it comes to trades, so it’ll take more than what a normal team would want.

None of this is happening. Let. It. Go. We can all like Burrow and be huge fans of his. But it’s not happening. Come to grips with it.

Yes, absolutely. The Saints will offer full ownership of the Saints in trade for the #1 pick. Rita is on board with this.
