With all the cut Carr talk. My question is who replaces him?

Carr is by far our best option.

We saw last year the other QB's on the roster are years away from starting.

Even if the Saints go 0-17 and draft Manning, the best play is to just ride out the contract.

I would really like to see Rattler with starting caliber players. If nothing else to get rid of any excuse if he is bad.

Ideally I would have like to see him have an offseason as the starter, get starter reps in all the practices and have Olave/Sheed/Kamara and a healthy line.

It's not about who is better right now. It would have been nice to have some type of evaluation year.

You will very likely see Rattler this year. Carr will miss at least 4+ games.

Carr is our best option to the land of mediocre … we will win enough games to be about 500 .. draft 12-15 every year … be in salary cap hell under Mickey …. Fun fun

Who cares?

3-4 vs 5-6 wins is still a shitty season. I think anyone wanting to cut carr is just hoping for a truly fresh start and thinks that he’s only good for a couple of extra short term wins on a roster that needs major revamping. Since those would essentially be meaningless in the grand scheme, why keep him if he obviously isn't the guy.

I highly doubt Arch Manning leaves school early. The family places a high priority on completing their educations. Can't imagine it changes with Arch.

Watching GetUp and GMFB this morning, I’m glad we aren’t pinning our future hopes on bidding for Aaron Rodgers, Sam Darnold, Russel Wilson or Justin Fields.

And some team, either the Giants, Steelers, Titans, Seahawks, Browns, Colts, Jets will be without one of those guys or one of the top rookie QBs.

I’d hate to be a fan thinking my best option at QB is Anthony Richardson, Jackson Dart, Justin Fields or Kirk Cousins.

Rattler is not the guy.

People are amazing in how little they understand football, crying "Quarterback! Quarterback!" while the rest of the team is horrendous. You just saw a bottom half QB win the Superbowl because ownership surrounded him with elite talent. Defense and a strong run game can still win championships.

It’s not. The opportunity loss of riding out Carrs contract is measured in years.
