Will the NFL take action against the Dolphins or Browns?

For starters, I have not read the Flores lawsuit, so this is just based on the headlines that have been reported. It appears, in the suit, Flores alleges the Dolphins owner paid him to LOSE, and improve the teams draft position. Hue Jackson, the former head coach of the Browns, says that they paid him to lose as well. Apparently, there is an allegation that Goodell and the NFL higher ups knew this was going on and allowed it.
There seems to be as much information out there on this as there ever was for "bounty gate." Also, IMHO, this is MUCH more serious as you have the coaches admitting the owners wanted to lose games.
Should the Browns and Dolphins be fined? Have draft picks taken away? or something else?
Of course, since Goodell is the one who makes those decisions and he helped cover it up, nothing will happen, but it just highlights the hypocrisy of the entire system.

get paid chump monies to lose and you are then losing any chance to HC again in the league cause of your shite record. what a proposition. Its a very bad look in the NFL imo.

well there's no betting aspect of it here.
but what you are doing is using an individual, help ruin his career, then stab him in the back when you feel its time to upgrade after so much losing to convince your fan base you want to win.

Who would go along with it?
Try to win and you get fired for being around .500, which makes you more attractive to a good owner. Throw games and nobody wants you.
Unless the owner and GM gut the roster. But that makes it obvious whose fault it was.

If an owner is telling the coach to lose for draft position, then isn't that a flashing neon sign that you are viewed as a short term employed HC? As a fan on the coach I understand the premise of tanking for draft position, but if I put myself in the coaching staff position, there are no asterisks on your career resume for losing on purpose. How do you explain failure to your next prospective boss and say you did it on purpose so its not as bad as it looks.

It’s beyond fricked up.
Flores knew he might be committing career suicide, but he stood up to the trashy dolphins owner anyways. Was fired for it years later even though he had his team in the playoff hunt this year. And had 2 winning seasons out of his 3 years. He was hired to beat Bellichick and had a 4-2 record against the Patriots.
On top of all that he finds out he never had a shot at the NY job days before from a “whoops” text from a respected mentor of his. I’d be pissed off too. He snapped and telling the NFL to frick off.
He’s a good coach. Most everyone is comparing this to the Kaep situation when it is totally different and way more justifiable.
Is he playing the race card to help his case? Sure. But strictly on and individual level, he was treated as a piece of trash by Miami.

With Sports being finally legalized across the country this past year---for this to have no betting angle is highly unlikely. Even if it's just a byproduct of the ordeal. If ppl know that the coach is intentionally being paid to lose games and they bet accordingly going into the season, and coach inturns wins games---sure there would be a lot of angry ppl on the inside.

If Flores is telling the truth, he has every reason to want to burn the whole thing down.
Him getting fired from the Fins was bad enough... if this was the reason? I mean I get it was insubordination but maaaan this is a bad look for the Shield.
And after arguably the best two weeks of playoff football in a long, long, LONG time.

Teams have long been suspected of tanking for better draft position. Bettors price that into their expectations.

From the reports I saw, that is one of the allegations in the suit. Again, I haven’t read the suit so I don’t know.

These are the most serious allegations against the integrity of the NFL that I've ever heard of. Ever.
The FBI should be involved in these investigations. Not only Goodell and the NFL, but the FBI, too, because some federal criminal laws may have been violated.
But, I don't expect anything to happen. Bountygate was because Goodell thought CSP lied and Goodell has had it out for Sean Payton ever since then.
