I’d say Brees’s arm has declined more. Plus I think Brees is fine with retiring now. Brady isn’t.

Nobody knows about either for sure. But judging from the fan eye test Brees is running on fumes while Brady looks like he has a couple more years in him

I think it's more about him believing the time is right for him to go. He already has big money, businesses, endorsement deals. He will command a big money TV contract regardless of whether he goes out this year or next. The TV contract will be there.
